George is a transplanted Minnesotan from New York, arriving in 1977 to attend college (Winona State). He is married with 2 children and 2 dogs. He's worked with The Nielsen Company since 1981 doing syndicated market research work with many clients across the country.

He has been involved in numerous sports his entire life (baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, tennis, racquetball, volleyball, golf, and ultimately, wallyball) and finds wallyball the most fun and challenging. Wallyball is a great way to work up a sweat and improve your conditioning, more so than any other sport.

First began playing wallyball in the late 1980's at the Jewish Community Center in St. Louis Park with some other corporate members.  He relocated to Green Bay, WI for 4 years (1990-1994) and began a league for the Newcomers Association, where they played at the Western Racquet Club.  Upon returning to Minnesota in 1994, he started playing several years later at the Radisson Fitness Center in Plymouth with some co-workers in a league. Looking for a more challenging environment, I eventually started playing at Central Courts in Columbia Heights; have not left since that time.

I've found wallyball to be the best physical workout for all the sports I've played. It is fast and requires quick reflexes.  Now that I've been playing the sport for over 20 years, I'm anxious to begin teaching the "young bucks" (and "does") how to enjoy the game.  If you haven't played wallyball before, try it, you may fall in love with it like I have!
